Virtues Programme

At Singapore International School, a Virtues Programme has been designed to support the development of the whole student and consists of twenty virtues which are taught to students throughout the school.

We teach the virtues that underpin good character and guide young people to become socially just and responsible global citizens.

Respect is the common overarching virtue for the whole school. It is essential that all students learn the virtue of respect in a multi-cultural international school environment.

With a multi-layered approach, our Teachers develop lessons to introduce each virtue and help our students understand what it means and how the virtue influences human behaviour.

The implementation of the Virtues Programme allows us to develop the whole child and equip them for a successful life. We aspire to build young people of strong, ethical character who will make a positive contribution to the world in their future endeavours.
