Virtues Programme
At SIS, a Virtues Programme has been designed to support the whole development of each student and consists of 20 virtues which are taught to students throughout all school.
We teach virtues that underpin good character and guide young people to become socially just and responsible global citizens. Respect is a common overarching virtue and is essential for students to learn this very important virtue in a multi-cultural international school environment. With a multi-layered approach, our Teachers develop lessons to introduce each virtue and help our students understand what it means and how each virtue influences human behaviour.
The implementation of the Virtues Programme allows us to develop each child as a whole and aspire to develop young people of integrity with strong, ethical character who will make a positive impact in the world.
